About Dick Rivers

Dick Rivers has been a Winnipeg celebrity for quite some time now. Including his time on-air at Power 97 and FREQ 107, the great pizza of Dick’s Pizza, and Dylan’s on Portage, he has made a name for himself.

Back in the day, Dylan’s was the place to go after the Bomber Games for fans and players alike. Bombers like Buck Pierce, Obby Khan, Jovon Johnson, Odell Willis and Alex Suber would roll into the Irish-themed bar after their game. “And then there was Jonathan Hefney, who’s quite the ladies’ man with my serving staff — ’nuff said about that!”

Dick Rivers hasn’t lost his crude sense of humor. As he puts it:
“That’s just how I communicate. My mom doesn’t even like listening to me, but I’m going to talk the way I talk and be no bullshit. I’m going to talk straight from the hip. There’s no sense in holding back”.
